I am a gardener, a brewer, and chicken farmer (well, we have three chickens in the backyard). I am also a plant scientist passionate about biotechnology, a rower, and a cheesemaker on occasion. I’ve been known to throw a ceramic pot on the wheel now and again. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, in a little stone storybook house surrounded by tomatoes. Lots and lots of tomatoes.

This tomato breeding is interesting! I just started growing Dwarf Heirloom Tomatoes this year. I also grow regular indeterminate heirloom tomatoes as well. So far the Dwarfs seem really tough. I hope you get a dwarf stripy!
